review 1: This was a tough one to review. I hate romantic novels that portray women as idiots, mesmerized by the looks, smell, money or whatever of a man. There unfortunately is some of that in this book. But, that being said, Harkness does a pretty good job of maintaining the protagonist's self-respect and independence. So, I forgave the stereotyping. And, then, the story was excellent. So, I will read the other two, and I recommend this book.
review 2: I'm in a hate-love relationship with this book. The plot is slooow, too many other stories involved in the main event, and I'm feeling like at first the author gave me a litre salt water to drink and only gave a drop of water every chapter. So less magic, so less fight. It's bad, but why I still give 4 stars? This is
... more not as simple as Twilight love story. I love Matt, I love how author explain his figure and already make me fall in love with him. I love the science background and also some history story around it. And love neutrality too (how same sex relationship written as a very normal thing in this book without any LGBT book jargons).I hate you Diana for makes me a pathetic reader, but I'm enjoying being it... less
