review 1: I'm glad I'm almost done this series. Some books I've enjoyed more than others....I liked this one, but there were a fair bit of stuff that kind of annoyed when I sat back to think about it. I enjoyed Sinead & Adam's budding relationship, but I felt like it just 'happened' - no real good build up to it or anything...Not one of my favorites of the series, but still an ok read....maybe I'm just hot for the HOT hockey players??
review 2: I really loved this book. My favorite thing is a good series and this book incorporated two series together (NY Blades and Wild Hart).I love how Adam becomes friends with Anthony Dante so we get to see that character again. He plays for the Blades so we get to see Ty Gallagher (who is now Blades GM) and Michael Dante (who is no
... morew head coach), but we don't see either of their wives or families which I was a little disappointed with. We also hear a little bit about some of the other Blades players who have made appearances in other books.Sinead is the sister from Wild Hart so we hear about Maggie & Brendan, Quinn & Natalie, and Liam & Aislynn too, but just a little. This was a good story on it's own, but since I'm such a sucker for a good series it was all the better for me.The only thing that bothered me was Adam & Sinead went out on a double date with Anthony Dante and his now wife Vivi. They acted like strangers, even introducing themselves, etc. I think that was a big oversight in both writing and editing as Vivi's sister Natalie is married to Sinead's brother Quinn. While they might not be together all the time or anything like that, shouldn't they at least know each other and not have to do introductions at a restaurant? Vivi and Anthony were at Natalie & Quinn's wedding (With a Twist - Wild Hart book 2) which was held at Sinead's country house so wouldn't they have at least met and gotten to know each other a little bit? That part was just very weird to me.I really liked Adam's character and his back story and how they wove Sinead's work as an attorney in with the Blades storyline. I loved both characters and was cheering for them to get together. less

I liked it but just not as much! It was good enough to be entertaining though!
