review 1: After reading the synopsis I had such high hopes. Granted this was meant to be a teaser for the bigger one, it fell much too short. The whole lust at first sight is understandable. Accepting a steamy proposal from a Latin lover - totally wild. But it never quite delivered. Where's the romance? Where was the mystery?Perhaps its successor will give everything that I wanted from this. However it doesn't mean I will give it a go. The Ultimate Merger spoiled it for me.
review 2: I love author Delaney Diamond's writing style, she really draws you in deep with the stories she weaves.Renaldo and Sabrina with their quick whirlwind romance. Sabrina had crazy family issues and always kept people at bay because of them. Her childhood was atrocious and because of that she ... morepromised herself she would never be a statistic or a product of the environment she grew up in.Renaldo hot, hunky, sexy, sweet and alpha. Strong business man and a chance meeting with Sabrina changes both of their lives into forever. You just know these two are meant to be together. This story is the prequel to the big story "Second Chances: of the Hot Latin Men Series"Although this story is short it is explosive and exciting. If you haven't read it already I strongly recommend it. I don't write spoilers I just encourage people to read the story. less
