review 1: Got 20 minutes? Grab what Denis Leary himself refers to as his “celebrity coaster”. Once he started with Twitter, he couldn’t stop and naturally wanted to make money off his tweets, twats, whatever. Thus – the book. Just a bunch of Leary-esque tweets, but some are pretty damn funny, so be careful if you’re drinking a hot beverage (or something carbonated).Example: “To celebrate Earth Day I spent three hours picking up trash. Started to feel a little bit like Jesse James.”Another: “New Jersey worried about oil residue on beaches. Not from Gulf spill. From cast of Jersey Shore.”And finally: “Paris Hilton says she thought bag of cocaine was gum. Who’s her lawyer – Roger Clemens?”
review 2: This is 104 pages of funny snark from Leary, us... moreually commenting on current events. The format is a picture, a news note about an event and Leary's shot at it, for each of a pair of pages. “Larry King puts his divorce on hold”, to which Denis adds “And another one marriage forwarding.”Acerbic and witty, you can read this in half an hour, including the introduction. And you should. 3 stars less
