review 1: Reenie Davenport has had a rough go with men. She moves to Texas for a fresh start and meets up with her college friend Amy Stark...while visiting she also meets Amy's brother Matt Stark....who just so happens to be very sexy, and very naked!I knew before even reading this book that I was going to love it. Desiree NEVER disappoints me! Her books are amazing. I actually read this one last cause I just now found it *sheepish grin* But it was wonderful. Matt's character kept me laughing and having hot flashes while I can relate to Reenie in some ways. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and would recommend it to anyone...so what are you waiting for??? Go get it!
review 2: This was an OK short story. The writing was somewhat repetitive for so few pages. Reenie kept brin... moreging up Matt coming in drunk, then naked, the first night at his ranch, when she was visiting her friend (his sister) Amy. I mean she brought it up over and over and over again, even in a business meeting in front of her boss. Also, seriously, what guy keeps saying a woman's name 3 times? "Reenie, Reenie, Reenie", so irritating. Poor Amy kept appologising constantly in the first chapter of the story for Matt's drunken moment, what kind of friend blames you for something your sibling does? Please!! Once again for such a short story I was sick of hearing about "Arsehole Aaron" and his philandering ways with comparisons to Matt, move on already! Reenie was a tad annoying, who bales on a friend the way she did and won't take her phone calls? Just childish and rude. On a positive note I did like Matt and his sister Amy, the sex scenes between Matt and Reenie, whilst short, were pretty good and the writing was quite promising. I would like to read a full novel by this writer and see how that measures up. If you are looking for a light, fun, no-brainer of a short romance then this could quite possibly fill the bill. less
