review 1: Mark this book as DNF. The writing is fine, characters likable, but there were so many that just sort of popped in that I found it confusing as to who is who. Perhaps these books need to be read in order to know the characters better? The writing style, going into everyday life's intimate detail, is just not my cup of tea. I kept thinking that something is bound to happen soon if only everyday life would get out of the way. I just couldn't wait that long.
review 2: This book is #3 in the Bellingwood series. Oh. My. Goodness. I absolutely LOVED the first two books, and this one did not disappoint me, either. ... moreith her business, the property is being renovated and everything is moving along nicely. The horses are still here and they're very much part of the book. I have already purchased (YES! I PURCHASED a Kindle book! Me, the Queen of the freebies!) book #4, and I am looking forward to curling up with it tonight as I settle down in bed. I have appointments tomorrow, and let me tell you - my Kindle and Polly are going with me!I recommend this entire series to anyone and everyone. There's no gratuitous sex scenes, no gory horror scenes (Yes, there is murder, but it's not described in detail), nothing that I would consider off limits for a teen and above. LOVE this series! Have I said that already? It's good enough to repeat!! less
