review 1: Princess of the wild swans strikes me as an old fairytale, though I had never heard it before. The Princess has many older brothers and when her father returns with a new wife, she does not seem at all pleased with this. Soon enough her brothers disappear. It does not take the princess long to discover her new stepmother is a witch, and to get the heirs apparent out of the way she has turned all of the princes into swans. It is up to the princess to discover the cure and provide to her bothers before they a lured into the fairy world where they will remain swans forever.
review 2: This was one of my favorite versions of the princess and the swans story. It is different than the others I have read because she could tell others what she had to do rather than keep
... more it a secret. I liked how the author took a spoiled princess at the beginning and by the end of the story she had turned her into a humble and lovable character. The plot was very thorough and did not leave me with too many questions. As a hopeless romantic I did wonder what was going to happen between Liam and Meriel. I would definitely read this one again though and would recommend it to anyone who liked fairy tales. less
