review 1: When a prophecy worries even the Gods, then it is going to be bad. For everyone. I would love to meet some of the Olympian Gods and ask them questions. However Chloe does not get the chance to made a decision. She finds that she knows a God, a Demigod, and that she is an Oracle. Before she can react to this news the Gods go back to causing trouble and hiding secrets. Chloe is in the middle and she also learns that her actions will affect the world. This was an interesting book for me and I studied the Gods in school so I knew the background of Olympian etc. I am looking forward to the next installment. I am giving this book a 4/5. I was given a copy to review, however all opinions are my own.
review 2: Where to start where to start? Okay I enjoyed this book. It... more isn’t a book I was totally obsessed with but I really liked the plot and how the author told this story. I really liked reading from the main character’s point of view and the other character’s point of views. Chloe was just extremely fun to read with. There were times where I would read what she was thinking and totally agree with her!The language in this book is super clean. There was an occasional cuss word but it was nothing too bad. It’s not very graphic and there aren’t too many lovey-dubey scenes. I really enjoyed how there was also Greek Mythology. There were times where the author would mention a greek name and I would remember from reading Percy Jackson.Just some [small] spoilersDid Strafford seem like a Jace to me. Man this guy got annoying but you still love him. When I read his first POV I was so annoyed because he seemed so….douchy… I’m a little confused on what the whole point of their journey was. Was it fulfill the prophecy, get rid of Dropper or something… less
