review 1: President Obama has his critics. This work gives a different angle. Instead of incompetence, the author feels that all of our ills are intentional, that Obama is the architect with the goal of bringing this country down. He cites both foreign and domestic policies. To support his thesis, D’Souza uses the presidents past to include his writings and associations. D’Souza does a good job of setting the stage with background and then presenting his argument. While the tone of this book may be a bit alarming to many, it does have some credence. This book was published in 2012. Reading it today, after the elections and seeing the current state of events, does give room to wonder—even to those who are skeptical of such a bold theory. It is well written and certainl... morey entertaining.
review 2: Very interesting! Dinesh D'Souza is a great writer and researcher. He explains why Obama may be making the decisions and choices he is while in office. This is a great read for those interested in politics and wanting to understand Obama more. D'Souza makes interesting connections between the books Obama personally wrote with the decisions he is making as President. There really is no surprise. President Obama was very clear in what he believed and it was all stated in his books, and now he is carrying out those ideas as President. Why should anybody be surprised? ( Well, I guess if you didn't read President Obama's books, you would be surprised. However, if someone is running for President and has written books, don't you think we should read them before voting day?)I recommend this book to those interested in politics. less
