review 1: I think this book started off really good, but then fell a little flat for me. Lexi started off as a headstrong woman who didn't take any crap and she turned into a sex starved submissive. Her character was the most developed, whereas the triplets were very one dimensional. I didn't learn a thing about them. Saber was the big, tough warrior that treated Lexi like she was a child and beneath him. Paul started off as a suave predator but then somewhere along the line, he became just another body and Andre, well I couldn't tell you what he looked like or give you one word to describe his personality if I had a gun to my head. Saber seemed to take up the most page time when it came to the alphas and I wasn't sure why and Andre was like a sad third wheel all of the time -... more even lying at Lexi's feet after sex while Saber and Paul always got to snuggle. I can't believe I'm saying this, but for a menage, this book wasn't really that steamy. Every sex scene was very similar. I also felt the writing was choppy and the use of the word "smirk" had to have shown up at least one hundred times. With more character development, more work with the menage and less coincidences, this book would have been a whole lot better.
review 2: Already love the characters. Like where the story is going.Finished and reading bk1 Pearl series. If you like PNR you'll like this book. Started out great. Loved how Paul knew she was his. Liked how the brothers spoke telepathically to each other. Slight issue in middle where she was to back & forth between I want them and second thoughts. That got a little old. But after that was back to action. Liked how much happened. Will read the 2nd book. Slight issue with how long she was back & forth deciding if she wanted the triplets so the book flow slowed down. But after she did the book was great. I'm reading Stacy's Destiny now and had about 4 chapters of the back & forth. Overall, this was a good book, great story, loved the characters and will read the 2nd book. less
