review 1: I agree with others in that the title is a bit misleading. This is a short and humorous book. It takes place on the planet of Laden, which is very similar to Earth. A new leader has come into power and decided that single people are a threat to the moral fiber of society, therefore, everyone over 18 must marry or die. The new leader's Ron, Crash, has just turned 18 and wants to marry Silus, the beautiful bad boy. Silus doesn't believe in love or marriage but it doesn't take long for the beautiful Crash to make Silus change his mind. This was humorous and I liked the characters. It was a cute, sweet, HEA story.
review 2: I enjoyed this book even though the title fooled me a little and made me think it would be a more serious story. I loved Crash and I could sp... moreend a whole lot of time just listening to his sarcasm and humor, not to mention how beautiful he seemed to be - he was freaking adorable. I thought the whole premise of the book was really cool - introducing a society where everyone had to be coupled, what an interesting concept. I liked Silus a lot, too, his stubbornness and determination to not conform - he was great. Great read, hot and sexy with a really sweet couple (in the end), and as is always the case with DJ's book, I wanted to read more about the characters. less
