review 1: I have always been fascinated by Grace Kelly. Her transitioning from glamorous Hollywood film star to royal princess, wife and mother is a story worth hearing. Evidently the author was a friend and had interviewed her multiple times in person. He talked as well extensively with family members, fellow actors amd close friends. For all of her beauty, charm and riches, she totally comes across as a down to earth person who never took their fame and fortune too seriously and simply wanted to do their best in whatever role she was currently playing - be it an actress, a wife, a mother, a daughter and or a princess. At times it was a bit dry as I listened and the author himself was the reader but overall it was quite informative and well done.
review 2: Having vowed
... moreto read one biography a month and having only actually finished one so far (that was absolutely horrible), I decided to try again. I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed High Society and attribute my satisfaction to two different factors. First, Grace Kelly seems to have been a very genuine person with an interesting life; therefore, the story itself was good. Second, the author personally knew Kelly, so I think it he felt personally responsible for portraying the real story instead of an overly-dramatized, made for Lifetime TV version. less

Nada del otro jueves, no aporta apenas nada nuevo. Bastante pelota y complaciente.
