review 1: A cute Christmas tale and romance. Sort of Harry Potterish. The male and female characters who work at the same place but don't really know each other have been drawn to a book store on a street near where they work. After purchasing their books they find the ticket to the Christmas Ball. The thing is that the street doesn't seem to exist. The man has a sister who has Downs Syndrone so he wants to take her to the ball. So the story goes on to tell what happens with getting another ticket for the sister. Of course, the man and the woman get together to resolve the problem and get drawn in to going to the ball. They need to get costumes and return to the street with the sister to find costumes. Their time at the costume is very interesing. I love the explanation th... moree two old ladies give about wizards and Christmas. There's still a twist to come. Read the book to see what happens. Enjoy.
review 2: Cute Christmas romance tale mixed with some fantasy. I'm not a reader of Harry Potter, but to me it was very much that style. However it was also heavily sprinkled with Christian tones, though they were few but a bit heavy-handed when used. I also don't normally read romance novels, but this one was not like the usual mushy ones I've read in the past. I could definitely see this being made into a Hallmark Christmas movie and I'd probably watch it if it were. less

Was kind of a Hallmark-movie kind of book -- a good read for sure.
