review 1: It seems that more and more we are seeing stories about second chances at love. Why don't people just actually talk anymore. Everything seems all about games and who can get the better hand against each other. Ella and Devin married as teenagers and then she left for college and walked out on her life with him, sending a letter to say the marriage was a mistake. Devin never went after her. She always wondered about him but never went back to see him. When they are forced to confront each other again, 12 years later, they are still both dancing around their true feelings. Although, I did enjoy the book, I was more than happy when they both finally faced their true feelings and listened to each other.
review 2: I didn't know what to expect from this book. It turn
... moreed out to be a moderately well written and not entirely cliche romance novel. In a genre where it seems books are pushed out too fast with too little consideration to plot or writing this book stood out. The plot centered on two people who fell in love and married at a young age. Separated for twelve years they reconnected, struggled, and then reunited. The writing wasn't exactly poetic and at times slightly boring. There were a few very noticeable errors in the editing as well. However it was a good easy read with a mostly satisfying happy ending. less

It was pretty hot, but I found all the tension tiresome after a while. Talk to each other already!!!

Fun, easy read. If you liked the movie Sweet Home Alabama, you will probably like this.
