review 1: I must admit I put the book down after reading the first page but once I picked it back up it was a page turner . I was intrigued by the plot and I must admit that I was very sad that the story did not end happily. It was a testament of how dangerous a woman scorned can be especially with her having a history of sexual abuse. Overall I would recommend this book to anyone that wants a good exotic read.
review 2: in the beginning when the book started, it was very slow and if the book is slow to me it will take awhile for me to get into it. Once I got to know who the characters were and how they were related it was pretty good but some of the story line I felt was not needed, like describing the way something looked I felt like that was overkill. Now again most o... moref it was pretty good but in the end I felt like the ending was rushed, there were a lot of years that went by where we did know what happened. less
