review 1: I loved it! From the beginning to the end. I love how it started; right from the beginning there was mystery, and it grabbed my interest right away. I liked how the author got right into the story, although a bit more character development would have been nice, but I suppose not knowing added to the mystery. John Dreamer was very fast paced for me and I read it in no time. I can't wait for the next book! I'm really looking forward to it, and with that bit of a cliffhanger, I hope it comes out very soon!
review 2: Intriguing story. Told mostly by Andy, who finds herself in a white room with six strangers and 7 very different chairs that fit the personalities of each person. Then, a man who calls himself the Guardian shows up and tells them that they are in
... morea space of dreams in order to make their dreams come true and that they can't get out so they had better like each other. That part reminded me a bit of "No Exit" although they were not in hell. Anyway, each person's dream helps them to work through a huge problem in their life although all members who remain participate in each dream. As each member's dream is fulfilled, he or she disappears and we learn how their dream impacted their life. Until the last two - which leads on to the next book as this is set to be a trilogy. The story is rather short, but interesting and an easy read. I received this book free to review from Netgalley. less
