review 1: I had this book sitting in my kindle for awhile, decided to read it the other day. I'm not a normal reader of the D/S scene. To me many are just teasers, no real info inside. Now this book on the other hand... Opened eyes and started me thinking about a few things. It was very nice to read a book where the Man is unsure of himself and isn't chicken sh*t to admit it. I always wondered about/how the Dom's where trained. This book answers some questions that I had. Ver willing to read more from this lady.
review 2: Story about Sawyer. Sawyer wants to learn to become a Dom. I find the situation weird during the learning process. I feel like the author spends too much time trying to state and express feelings and address any misunderstandings. Nothing is left to in
... moreterpretation, it's all laid out.For me the story gets off track with many distractions of unnecessary fillers. The sexual encounters are very graphic and visual. Ménage, spanking, whipping, oral, and bondage play is used. Sarah, Dylan, and Isabel help train Sawyer. Sawyer is given scenes to act out with the help of some submissives. It's interesting that the submissives are the ones training Sawyer to be a Dom. INot a fan of relinquishing control to another human being. It's demeaning to place a Dom in such power. Sex should be mutual give and take. Men should not dominate over women in the form of proving them superior. I can't understand why anybody would find pleasure in making someone hold out the orgasm. All these punishments, chores, and masterbation tactics are absurd. Again what's with giving men all this power and having women be slaves? Sex is being used as a tool to control these women. Sex should be fun and exciting as two people enjoy each other. I prefer the standards of what Sarah set forth for her and Sawyer. Although I could do without the title of "Sir". It seems like brain washing to me. The slave speaks like she is being honored by feeding, dressing, bathing, and worshiping her master. It is demoralizing. Would be better if the training had been limited to private sessions with only Sawyer and Sarah. So Sawyer is off learning the many ways to be a Dom so he can go back to Sarah and use all the techniques he learned. It's just an excuse to be with other women. Not sure I believe Sawyer is really thinking about Sarah when he has a slave servicing his needs. What a Good Samaritan Sawyer is to train himself with other women and says it's all for the good of Sarah. Why thank you for sharing your d**k with other women so I can be properly pleased. I'm amazed by the stamina and ability to get aroused. Sawyer is like the energizer bunny.I appreciate the clarity to explore all aspects of a Dom, sub, slave, and a vanilla person. There are many varieties to being a Dom and a sub. It was interesting how the author chose to distinguish those differences. I appreciated the definition of styles and preferences. What an interesting opportunity for Sawyer to be rewarded with these sessions to explore every possible scene play. Sawyer gets to train and test out scenes to determine what type of Dom he wants to be and set hard and soft limits. The more opportunities that are presented to Sawyer makes it more challenging to choose what is best for him. He wants a slave, but also wants Sarah as his sub. The point of the story was to train a Dom named Sawyer which is a great story line. However, it would have been better if presented as a normal couple not damaged. Too many stories already state the same things. All these people who are into fetishes have suffered loss, beatings, rapes, and killings. A better tactic would be to approach it from a different angle with an everyday man seeking an everyday woman. Sarah and Sawyer's situation plays out no differently than any other typical relationship between a man and a women. The only differences are the chosen names of Master, Sir, Dom, and a Sub. The only interesting part of the story was the scene plays and training Sawyer to become a Dom. The rest was just filler and distractions. Was not necessary for Sawyer to fall in love. less
