review 1: I'm a very accepting reader and tend to be very forgiving and rate books higher than the average. I have trouble letting flaws in a story lessen my like of it. That being said, this review isn't easy to write. I really had high hopes for this book. There was so much potential for this story to be great. The bare bones of the story were there and actually pretty unique, but the dialogue was mostly unauthentic and the pacing/flow was extremely rough. I enjoyed the idea and basic story, though the execution left a lot to be desired.
review 2: Hmm...where to start!! Killian amd Sloan are something to behold when they are together. They have a future together as soon as she turns 18. Now, I am very good at figuring out plots and who the bad guy is. I kept wondering
... moreWTH is going on here? I always figure it out!! This sure did keep me guessing and I figured out a couple of things, but not all of them. Killian is an ass!!!!! He played his role good! He is mean and ruthless and alpha male. He is vendictive and can makes you want to strangle him! Sloan has had a lot of heartbreak and comes to conclusions fairly quickly. She has has a lot of low hard blows in her life. I guess you can not blame her for thinking some of the ways she does. Good book and no cliffhanger. Read in one sitting. Which explains why I am writing this review at 3 in the morning. So worth the time. less
