review 1: Who needs crack when I can crack open a kindle-bowl of Ella Fox.Book 3Spencer and DelilahWhat I liked: The alternating 1st person worked better in this story than the previous. The bond between them was sweet. And I also really liked both of them as characters. Loved their tenderness with each other.Getting to see the history of their relationship and how it evolved.What bugged me:The angst was over the top. They were supposed to have a bond so close each knew what the other was thinking and feeling but they constantly misunderstood each other. Then, all of a sudden Delilah who has taken the bull by the horns every step of the way in this story suddenly decides to start dating someone else because she saw for herself something she knew was going on (not trying to be va... moregue, just don't want to throw out any spoilers).I'm a fan of explicit love scenes but the author needs to slow it down a little and show more of the seduction. The 5 and 6 orgasms each without down time just stretch the bounds of believability.So even with the eye-rolling I sometimes am forced to do, I still enjoy these stories for what they are and I'm invested in seeing it through.
review 2: Oh Spencer, another one you want to scream at and smack! I mean Delilah is like and angel who loved since the day she was born (ok I admit that part did weird me out a little). So here you have this girl who means everything to you, has been your go to BFF for life, no joke, and you still can't keep it in your pants? Sheesh! I did really love this book though, but the twists and turns make this not just a steamy romance but an adventure. I love that! less
