review 1: This book says that it's appropriate for kindergarteners, but having read it to a kindergarten class and only seeing one student actually pick up on the message of the book, I think it may be a little higher than their level of reasoning. It is a good message, but from what I learned in EdPsych I think it may not be as effective in that age group, since it requires some hypothetical thinking skills that they still are developing.
review 2: I actually didn't like this book. I liked the concept, but there were so many that were unreal. Like the whole shooting paper straw wrappers... seriously? I do that all the time, of course I pick them up as well, but still. The littering, feeding the animals, not picking up after yourself, those were all good, but there were
... moresome that just weren't well thought out enough. I could see using this book to start a discussion and even to have students make a class book out of examples. less

Cute book. Might work for a middle school lesson on manners and expectations.

My students got it, but they shared that they got it by ALL TALKING AT ONCE.

A little preachy, but gets the point across.
