review 1: Um, much as I would have liked to give this a higher rating, it really didn't do much for me. Unfortunately, it was spoiled for me by an insta-love scenario and an unrealistic/unsuccessful attempt of D/s in the bedroom. I also thought a couple of plot threads were either finished too hastily, or were incomplete. In particular, a plot-thread concerning Ben's friend Matt was started but not carried through. As I said, I'd hoped to rate this higher but it really didn't make the grade for me.
review 2: The first half was good, and if the whole book was like that I would give it 3 stars. BUT the other half was way much better. And I really liked it.
