review 1: Two issues.1. It was really short which threw off the pacing of the book. The last 15 pages cover almost a year period. And not by going into an epilogue but in paragraphs so terse, it's like the author was running out of time on an hourglass. 2. Also slightly disturbed that the one love scene included conversations like "Did you breastfeed [my son]?" Really? I support breastfeeding mothers as much as the next person, but when you're taking off my pants, I don't want to talk about anything related to children or childrearing. Just feels skeezy.Other than that I never really felt like I knew enough about the characters to care.
review 2: When Tina met Ari again, she was clearly in shock. After six long years she hasn't saw him. Not when he walked out of her life
... more with barely a goodbye and not when she gave birth to their son Theo but things are going to change now. Ari was both he and Theo, he doesn't know it yet but he loves them both DESPERATELY! So he will do anything to have her and Theo. Tina is scared, she was left alone pregnant and struggling with her life and that of her sons. Now that Ari is back, she's doing everything to avoid him.So when they finally get together what happens? Tina is hit by a truck while riding in a cab and now she's in a coma and might never get back to Ari.This book is about realizing. Realizing you love someone. Realizing that some people have a hard time forgiving. Realizing that sometimes, everything will be all right, if only you try. less
