review 1: Possible Spoilers: I loved this book and the sequel. It is well written, funny and romantic. Viv and Max have been friends for a very long time. Both adore each other, however, are with other people. When Rob, Viv's fiance breaks their engagement Viv is heartbroken, but finds solace with Max. Max tells Viv he loves her, and she is pretty sure she loves him; however, something holds Viv back and circumstances causes them to separate. The sequel picks up where this books leaves off.
review 2: Heartbreak is a bitch and boy did Vivienne Summers go through it! Jilted by the love of her lfe, she thinks life is over for her. She suffers, mopes, screws up at work and is an overall mess. Things take an interesting turn when she takes a different/romantic look at h... moreer best friend Max. All seems to be looking up until her ex fiance shows back up claiming he misses her and wants her back. Vivienne makes a bad decision that sends everything spiraling out of control. This really was an enjoyable read. less
