review 1: I'm conflicted over this book. I loved reading about Oxford, and Floriana's work as a tour guide. I fancied Adam and wanted the romance between him and F. to work, and I admired Esme. But Esme's back story, her romance with two dashing Italian cousins, that drove me crazy with frustration. Esme was a such a silly little girl. I would have preferred the book without Marco as well, talk about Mills and Boon stereotype!
review 2: It's sort of cliched but I was hoping for a Summer read when I picked up this one. Imagine my surprise when most of the beginning and half of the middle was set in Winter - snow on the ground, Christmas and everything! Can't really criticize the author for that though...but the cover and title is slightly misleading in that respect. Oth
... moreer than that, it's a good read - it had me hooked from beginning to end although again it's quite cliched as most summer reads are turning out to be these days. less
