review 1: This is my first Erica Spindler novel. I really enjoyed the story of this book, and the plot and twists kept me interested throughout.The biggest problem I had (and the reason I almost put it down a few times without finishing) is that some scenes seemed hasty and made it hard to follow the dialogue. There were also some scenes where it wasn't entirely clear if it was Kitt's or MC's POV until halfway through the scene. That can be a bit jarring when you're trying to stay involved in the story, but you have to keep searching to see which character the POV is through.Overall, though, I did really like the story and would read more from Erica Spindler.
review 2: Okay, so I thought this book was going to be a kind of sucky book - way too much love flowing between a... morell the characters, then all of a sudden "wham" I didn't seen that coming. Talk about a lot of emotions running through this book, so very sad at times, and at other times makes one very angry.The main characters seemed to have pulled their claws back - for a while. Then the big question arises - who do you trust? and shouldn't you be able to trust your partner? No? Maybe? No?Loved this book - don't want to give anything away - so read it yourself and find out!2 thumbs up and 5 stars - great read.Onto the novella "Storm Season" by 3 really good authors - J.T. Ellison, Alex Kava,and Erica Spindler! less
