review 1: This story was about a 15 year old girl named Claire who was different from all of the other kids. She and her family have powers. She never knew she had them before but once she did her family moved her to another school. This school was full of kids just like her, they had powers too. Claire was my favorite character because she had to learn what her powers could do, unlike the other kids who did pretty well with using their powers. I could relate to Claire because her being a 15 year old, like me, I know how she feels with having to move to a new school not knowing anyone. This was my all time favorite book because it was exciting and it releaved unknown secrets at the end of the story. I would recommand this to kids around my age because you can relate to Claire and th... moree other characters in this story.
review 2: I'm not going to lie, you will see a lot of similarities between this book and other books... but does that stop the book from being good? No. I really enjoyed this book... it was a quick, easy and entertaining read. I don't really have the time or brain power to invest in some mind boggling book that will require hours of concentration because when I'm reading I just want to relax. That said, this is a good book to read curled up in bed when you just want a little bit of time away from the world. less

The end of the book was left open for a sequel, however she did wrap things up enough to satisfy me.

This was a terrific book. Fast paced, well written and suspensful. I hope there's a sequel - soon!
