review 1: One of my favorites I now personally own. The book does get confusing at first with the flash backs and flash forwards of the circus and those whole surround the circus. But aside from that an enchanting reading about the coming to two people who start off as "opponents" but in the end fall in love with one another but cannot be due to the "completion" they are forced to be in. Most definitely looking forward to when the book becomes a movie in the last future.
review 2: It was perfect. Possibly I think so because I was expecting it to be a certain way, and it surpassed that and then went somewhere far more interesting. But what a joy to travel here, to be part of it, to dream of it. I am definitely a 'reveur' after reading this, and I will read it again with g... morereat pleasure. The lush prose and dreamlike descriptions of the circus are a joy, and the plot unfolds like A Midsummer Night's Dream. Oh, I loved it, all the more so for not expecting too much of it. less
