review 1: You know, I can't say what pulls me into a book. What makes hours of reading fly by so quickly...but I do know that whatever it is, didn't happen in this book. It was okay. It wasn't great. It didn't wow me. Honestly some of the sentences, were worded so oddly I had to re read it just to understand wtf was meant by it. And It took me over a week to complete this book. I usually go through a few books a week. I liked that their was a dom, I don't like how many times, Mischa said she wasn't her mother. Like yeah, I know we get that...it's mentioned at least once or twice per chapter. Or how strong willed she was. It takes more than writing that a character is strong willed...your words have to prove that somewhat. So It was okay for me. I have one more book by her in this se... moreries....I'll give it a go.
review 2: *I won this title in a contest sponsored by DearAuthor.comFabulous conclusion to the Edge series from Eve Berlin. Again, you could read this as a stand-alone but it is more enjoyable to understand the background of the secondary characters. What I’ve really loved about this series is that each story explores a different aspect of BDSM culture and shows how sexy these relationships can be. I actually felt that this story had the most emotion to it. I’m not sure why I felt the connection between Mischa and Connor so much more than the other couples but they just got to me. I would have liked to see a little more grovel from Connor in the end but these two were just meant to be together and I would cheer for them no matter what they go through. I almost wish there were more in this series to enjoy. I guess I’ll have to explore more Eve Berlin/Eden Bradley books. less
