The use of poetic fallacy (weather/nature mirroring a character or mood) enhances the drama, and the flashbacks provide gradual, layered revelations of the central mystery. Some characters' backgrounds and personalities seemed a little neglected, but the central plot was fully realized and well developed. less

I want to be able to write like this. The story is heartbreaking, but the writing so, so beautiful.
