review 1: I finished this book a long time ago but. I waited a while hoping that the longer I thought on it, the more the book would come together for me or make me hate it altogether but in the end it remained the same. I did enjoy the book, I can not lie about that. I liked the characters and that the author includes the idea that they are majicians in all that was just fun. Honestly though, unlike other reviewers, I have never read this author before so I had no idea what to expect. I knew that something big would explode and I kept waiting and waiting and then... it happened. I do like science fiction. I love scientific books. At the same time I do not know what the author was trying to do here. The story was memorable so I give it a three but I just wish for ... moremore.
review 2: As usual Frank Peretti did an amazing job. This book had me on the edge of my seat, trying to guess the next twist and trying to figure out what was really going on- was she crazy, was it a dream, was he crazy, was it a set on, was brain washed....? I did not expect the answer to be what it was. Great book!! I tried to pace myself so that I could stretch the book out and make it last a few days at least, but it was too good, I could only make it last for a day. Alas, now we have to wait for another 7 years before Frank Peretti gives us another masterpiece. less
