review 1: Oh. My. Wow! This was so much more than I thought it would be. I sincerely enjoyed it. Although, I must say...it would have been better with zombies (every story would be better with zombies!) haha. Just kidding. It was great the way it was. Now I need my zombie fix though...so on to a zombie book I go! The only thing is that I cannot find any mention of a sequel ANYWHERE!!! Where would that info be? I hope that info exists. There is going to be a sequel right? There better be after that last chapter. Thanks for a great read Ms. Brown!
review 2: Uhh....ehhh...ummm...I don't know. I'm still trying to figure this book out. I liked the writing. Simple, straight-forward, with just enough description. I liked Cora, she was just strong enough but still acted like the
... more teenager she was. I guess my biggest problem was with plausibility. The author tries to leave hints and clues, but they are too few and far between and Cora does far too little thinking of her own to figure out what was going on. I just kept wondering why? Why do that? Why do this? Then there is a huge information dump at the end that only creates a ton more questions and came across as contrived. less
