review 1: This book had promise, real promise, Cassie was an interesting character with a promising past and back story, given the opportunity to turn her life around. Then the problems started, the school appeared highly surreal and I don't know, the book wasn't long enough for the plot in some areas, such as the relationship development between Richard and Cassie. Yet, the writing style was fluid and I did enjoy reading this book. I plan on finishing this series and I want to find out how Ranjit and Cassie's relationship develops and if she can ever beat the dreaded spirit.

Po přečtení vůbec nevím co si o knížce mám myslet, trochu mě zklamala, ale i trochu překvapila. Občas mi přišlo že autorka neví co píše, takže jsem se v tom trochu ztrácela a taky se mi stalo, že jsem nevěděla kdo s kým mluví. I když se knížka četla rychle tak mě moc nebavila, ale díky konci se mi kniha začala líbit, takže aspoň tak :D a kdyby byla kniha delší asi bych ji ti čtyři hvězdičky i možná dala. Celkově můžu knihu doporučit spíš mladším čtenářům (12-14)..

Nothing groundbreaking, was an easy read and was not what I thought it was -- spirit sucking demonampies? I'm not sure, it is definitely something... different. Straightforward writing, simple dialogue. I liked some of the tongue in cheek inside jokes that you'd only know of if you're from the UK. Primark etc. Overall it was okay. I don't think I'll be on the look out for the next one though. Cassie was a tad bit droll, Isabella a bit too much, Jake and Rajit were the only ones who I thought were okay...
