review 1: I could not get into the premise of this story at all so I was unable to suspend belief and run with the plot. The idea that 5 teenagers would just accept a dead body as Jesus and then transport it around the country without question just stretched things way too far for me. I also found that the journey that these young people took lacked suspense, intrigue or any sense of real danger, so I really couldn't care less whether they made it or not. Definately not on a par with Beatle meets Destiny.
review 2: All I can say is... weird. Starts out promising then quickly becomes unenjoyable. Will probably win lots of "awards" for being literary and wanky, but I am not sure if a normal person will like it. BAD. Also do NOT read if you are a Christian. The burning c
... moreross on the front is indicative of the "edgy" humour (read insults) you are going to encounter. It's a sad state of affairs when a book like this doesn't get contested, but then again, maybe it's because no one has read or even heard about this book before, so whatever. Fail. less
