review 1: I can never get enough of Nick Bracco, and boy is he back in a big way, ready to rescue the president's brother in the Amazon. Matt is by his side, or course, and Tommy is on hand to help in his own unique way. As much as I love these guys, I found my favorite character turned out to be the surprise return of Kalinikov. Top it off with some odd-ball bad guys and a group of Amazon Indians and this book turned out to be my favorite of the Bracco series so far. A thriller from the very first page!

The characters continue to grow,and keep you turning the page to see what happens to them next. ... moreEvery new person is given life in this series,the author is very good at embellishing so that you feel you know exactly who each person is and why they do what they do. A thoroughly entertaining book which will stand by itself,even if you have not read any others in the series. But I hope you will read them all,and will come,like me,to wait for the next! less
