review 1: A birthday present.A fantastic book of maps from George R. R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series.I particularly like the maps of Braavos, King's Landing, The East and Beyond the Wall. There is also a map showing the routes taken by the POV characters from books 1-5, therefore I would not recommend this for show only watchers, as they may be spoiled by a characters destination. However I would fully recommend this as a reference piece to any die hard ASOIAF fan.
review 2: This is actually not a 'book' but a box set that contains 12 maps/posters of different places, continents of 'The Known World'. ... morenkly, I've never been into maps or anything of the sort, but these are beautiful and it's really cool to have the map of Westeros on my wall. But you should be warned that this box set is quite pricey and some of the maps are really not new and it may disappoint some of the fans. So I would recommend this to only die-hard ASoIaF fans. less
