review 1: So surprised I liked this! I ended up reading it in 6 hours.... And ended up staying up until 5am to do so.... With a newborn child, this was probably really stupid. Luckily he's a gem and I only woke up every 4 hours to feed him and he graciously went back to sleep with me! Otherwise I would have hated this book for doing this to me! Characters were interesting, some minor characters seemed pointless, as they didn't really do enough to seem important enough it be in it, but that's my opinion.
review 2: I am highly impressed with this book. It took me by surprise and it had me in tears towards the end. I have to say that it was beautifully written. Jack McLachlan is an Aussie millionaire bachelor who tries to hide his identify with every woman he beds. He o... morenly contracts them for a few weeks and a month the most. He's never fallen in love and he plans on keeping it that way. He doesn't trust women because he knows that all they're after is his wealth.Laurelyn Prescott is a 22-year-old who goes to Australia with her best friend and crash at her friend's brother's place for three months. She is just an ordinary girl who lives an ordinary life. If it weren't for her friend's parents who paid for her ticket, she wouldn't have gone to Australia.Jack is bored and is looking for his next conquest. He doesn't want a blonde and he doesn't want a redhead, he is looking for a brunette, and he sure finds his brunette at a local club one night. Laurelyn goes with her friends and that's where she meets Jack.Jack makes Laurelyn an offer and promises her that he will make it worth her while, while she's in Australia. Laurelyn has nothing to lose and decides to go for it. They both change their names and go with the flow, just for the three month love affair they will be having.Jack and Laurelyn's passion is so fierce and I just couldn't get enough of them. Loved the fact that this book was based in another country besides the UK. Don't get me wrong, I love books based in the UK but this one just felt different since it was Australia and to be honest with you, I would love nothing more than to be able to go to Australia. I hate long flights but am willing to sacrifice myself to visit Australia.This story felt different to me and I loved how the girl was disinterested in his wealth. She fell in love with Jack Henry, the real Jack Henry. Jack tries like hell not to fall in love with Laurelyn, but I guess he failed miserably.Someone is out there trying to hurt Jack and I can't wait to find out if it is who he thinks it is that is causing all the problems he's been encountering lately.It's nice to see something different, it was sweet, nice and smoldering hot! I can't wait to start reading the 2nd installment in this beautiful love story. Georgia, two thumbs up for this book, total 5 stars for this book and I'm sure it will be 5 stars for the next two installments as well ;)Trust me, you will not regret it if you read this book and you'll want to jump into the 2nd after you finish the first one!! less
