review 1: Un livre facile et amusant a lire, parfait pour les vacances. Les personnages sont sympatiques, meme s'ils semblent assez immatures (proches de la 30aine alors qu'ils agissent souvent comme des adolescents pas trop malins) et souvent superficiels. Mais ce livre m'a fait sourire et parfois on n'en demande pas plus. J'ai ete tres surprise qu'un homme ait ecrit ce livre, les commentaires et attitudes feminines sont souvent justes (phrases qu'on peut echanger avec les copines). Par contre, la derniere partie du livre m'a un peu agacee, l'auteur semble avoir une image assez preconcue des femmes qui revent (selon lui) toutes d'un prince charmant et n'auraient que ce but dans la vie.
review 2: This book starts out slightly crazy and then takes the road to full blo... morewn insanity. Julie is the kind of person you want to hug and smack on the head at the same time. She's obsessive in the most endearing way, someone you'd like to have as a friend and who deserves to be happy without all the complications of life. Of course, that's not to be. Julie is one of those people who are inherently good, with a heart of gold, but a mind full of twisted logic. She does the kind of things most of us have contemplated doing at some point, but didn't, because - on second thought - we really shouldn't do such things.This is an entertaining and easy read, very lighthearted, but the ending left me feeling unsatisfied. I feel like the story deserved a better ending. I'd give this 2.5 stars, but since today's such a beautiful day, I'll round it up to 3. less
