review 1: I liked the idea of the story. Jamie was hot and I'd be somewhat interested in seeing where their story will go from here. However, I felt like things happened quickly with Lauren and Jamie. Knowing that this will be a series made it feel even more rushed. I also felt like the sex scenes, considering it's an erotic novel, were somewhat mild. Would I read it again...no. As I said before though, I would consider reading the next book in the series.
review 2: I liked it. In the end, I wanted more. I thought that the characters had good chemistry. I liked the Dom, Jay, and how Lauren was open to learning. Maybe it's just me, but I liked that Lauren used her safe word. Too often books show characters willing to do every little thing asked of them, and having a hero... moreine who uses her safe word was an unexpected twist I liked. I thought that there could have been more explanation of Jay's hang up's. I didn't quite get it with him, or why Lauren drew him as much as he indicated she did. That said, I enjoyed the book a lot. Here's hoping his friend get's a book. I'd be willing to read that. less
