review 1: Gina Lamm is a new author for me. I bought her both of her books during the Christmas Holiday and finally got around to reading them. I really enjoyed Geek Girls Don't Date Dukes. Leah and Avery were fun to get to know and fall in love with. I felt so bad for Avery when I found out about his past. I was glad leah was able to help him overcome that. I can't wait for the next one in this series because the author's sense of humor made the books such a joy to read.
review 2: I assumed this was a stand alone, but there were a lot of details that would've been helpful for someone who didn't read the first book. I couldn't suspend my disbelief in the beginning because I wasn't sure what was going on. Leah was unhappy with her life and decided she could fix it by goi... moreng back in time and finding a Mr. Darcy. Avery was unhappy with his lot but he persevered. I love a non-royal hero in Regency and thought Avery was perfect. I didn't much care for Leah though. She just seemed to make a mess and not care about the carnage. less
