review 1: I read Groupie and Rock Star as a two set book. This series really irritated me at times and I even found myself shaking my iPad like I was strangling someone! All the lying, hurt, betrayal and no back bone from Andy was hard to read. I like strong female leads...that is Andy for all of about one chapter. She is warned by several people about Vanni, but of course doesn't listen and then gets exactly what she was warned about and still gets all upset about it. I had a hard time liking Vanni at all the first book. By Rock Star I understood why he was the way he was but his attitude still seemed a bit much just cause he grew up without a dad. These characters are suppose to be 27 & 32 yet they have the mental capacity of a teenager. Andy can't make a consistent decision to sa... moreve her life when it comes to Graham and Vanni, and Vanni gets manipulated by pretty much everyone around him. A lil over half way through Rock Star I had to go and read the synopsis for Mogul (book 3) to see if I even wanted to finish the second book. It's just one big frustrating soap opera that at this point I'm not sure if I'll read the last book for awhile if at all.
review 2: This was a wonderful read that had my emotions all over the place. Giovanni, what to say about him. I liked him, then I hated him, then I liked him again. At the end, I'm not sure if I liked or hated him. Andy was a woman confidant in her own skin. I enjoyed reading a book with a main female character that wasn't broken. She didn't need to be fixed. I would definitely recommend this book. I can't wait to start the next book in the series, Rock Star. less
