The Executive Decision Trilogy
review 1: I received this book from the Touring Host for and honest review.I had the privileged to read all three books in the Trilogy Series for the author. The Exhibition is the last book in the Series, and as with the two previous books, The Executive Decision and Identity Crisis, I was not disappointed. It took me some time getting back in the story since it had been a while since I read them, but once I got the hang of it, it was an enjoyable read. The passion was explosive, the plot well executed and the story line flowed. With all the strong characters we met previously, back, you can be sure to be glued to the pages of this follow up.This time the emphasis was on Stacie Emerson, ex-wife of Garret and ex-girlfriend of Ellis Thorne. The three friends, Harry, Dee and Kendra, are ... moreback with their old archenemy Terence Jamison. And what a sicko this guy had been. There was just nothing that he didn’t do that got me riled up. And as with people like this, he thought he was above the law. That rules did not apply to him accept the ones he made to benefit him. Possessive, manipulative, heartless, womanizer, abuser of women and earth, rapist, murderer…and the list goes on. He stooped to the very rotten core of humanity to have his way.But Stacie had a plan; a well executed plan to bring this arrogant man down. And I loved every moment of it.Set against the backdrop of the waste land of her beloved fields and with nature in its entire splendor, you get sucked into their world. With a clear message, every man is liable for his actions if it were against other human beings or against nature. We are all accountable to look after the very planet we live on, and not disregard nature for greed and power.Harris Walker, nature photographer and Editor of the Wilderness Vanguard, resented Stacie from the start. He struggled to accept this lady but once his mind changed there was no stopping him. At first it was unadulterated lust that has driven him closer to her but once he got to know her it became more than just a quick romp in the bushes. The tale of Zoe and Ingrid will tuck the heartstrings as you learn more about them and how they too had fallen in the hands of the evil TJ. The man stopped at nothing to humiliate the women and brought them to their knees. His abusive, lust driven character, was demeaning to them as women and as artists.A beautiful conclusion to the trilogy, The Exhibition is suspense filled erotica at its best. And a book I can recommend to all readers that love this genre.
review 2: The Exhibition is the last book in Grace Marshall’s best-selling Executive Decisions trilogy. The previous two books dealt with two other couples getting it together, and the trials and tribulations they had as part of this. The Exhibition tells the story of Stacie Emerson and Harris Walker.Stacie’s a successful art gallery owner, and Harris is a photographer. She wants Harris’ work as part of her latest big exhibition, which as well as being incredibly high profile, will also raise lots of money for charity. The trouble is, they don’t particularly like each other, so getting them together in the same room to discuss things is a challenge in itself. Harris dodges Stacie’s phone calls, text messages and emails for as long as possible, until they’re thrown together and actually end up with a grudging respect for one another.Respect eventually grows into more, and it’s clear there’s an attraction between the two. But Stacie’s got lots going on her life, including one massive thing which she doesn’t want any of her friends involved in. She’s desperate to keep the people she cares about safe, so when Terrance Jamison, her ex, Ellison Thorne’s arch-enemy, threatens to expose Stacie’s secrets, she must expose him for the scumbag that he is. He hurt her badly, very badly, in the past, and when she sees him starting to do the same thing to a promising new artist she’s exhibited, Stacie knows she must do everything in her power to stop him. Whatever it takes.I’ve loved these books by Grace Marshall – but this one is my favourite of the three. The storyline was incredibly gripping and I very much enjoyed the will-they-won’t-they love/hate relationship between Stacie and Harris. Of course, there was a great deal more to their love story than this, but I don’t want to give anything away. Let’s just say, if you enjoy a hot romantic thriller with some amusing moments thrown in, then you should definitely check out this book. It can be read as a standalone, but I’d recommend checking out the trilogy. less
