review 1: Whatever I read from this short-story collection, sadly, didn't help increase my respect for, probably, the most venerated contemporary poet of India, who happens to be one of my favourites, as well.Note to self:Avoid reading Gulzar Sahab's short-stories in English. In order to appreciate the stories of this master lyricist-cum-poet-cum-scriptwriter-cum-filmmaker, those have to be read in its original form and language.

... more read these days from our so called Nation bestseller authors, for them stories are about something which needs to be commercial, but for Gulzar Saab's works, stories are meant to be simple, pure, innocent, and yet being realistic. I am feeling to diminutive review a book from Gulzar Saab. Its one of those classics which should not be missed by any chance. There are different stories, different characters, which are going to take you to another world crated by the magic of the words of Gulzar Saab................Please read and feel the magic of one of India's greatest writers less

Good collections of stories , Some of them are really touching , while some had dark humor in it.

Only a story or two had an impact on me, others compelled me to keep the book back in the shelf.
