review 1: Wow, Just wow. i liked this book so much. I would not say i was in love with it .. but i really enjoyed it. The only reason i gave it 4 out of 5 stars is because there was a lot going on and it was kind of difficult to keep up with. A long way From you is the companion novel to Where i belong. this book is about a girl named Kitsy and she has a dream of becoming an artist. So when her best friend's family offers to fly her out to art school in the Big Apple. Kitsy hops a plane up to New york. While she is there she begins to find herself and what she really wants to do. She begins to make friends and be who she wants to be. I enjoyed this book quite a bit and i would recommend it. But.. I do recommend you read Where I Belong first becasue it does reference events and pe... moreople that were in that novel.
review 2: I loved Kitsy, she’s bright, bursting with heart, and stronger than she realizes.Kitsy’s from a small Texas town where she’s dated the same adoring (and adorable) quarterback since forever. She’s weighed down with more responsibility than any teen should have to shoulder on her own, basically raising her little brother after her dad’s gone AWOL and her mom’s taken solace in the bottle.But a trip to New York to attend a summer art course changes everything for Kitsy, her world opens up, suddenly there are so many more possibilities at her fingertips, there are other boys (specifically a cute musician) and adventures to be had, and dreams that really could come true if she chases them hard enough.A Long Way From You is a little bit romantic, a lot inspiring, and full of charm. You’ll be glad you met Kitsy. less
