review 1: Oh, wow, I don't understand why this book has such low ratings. Do the people reading this book understand that "mommy bloggers" are an actual thing? I'm not sure they do. I definitely understand that this book isn't going to be well-received or understood by everyone, but I have definitely spent time wondering what it must be like to be the child of a parenting/family blogger/vlogger who has their family out in the spotlight. I actually found this book on a 'social media in YA' booklist, and I'm really glad I did. I do wish we had gotten to hear more of the mother's side of the story, about how blogging was meaningful and fulfilling to her, but it was still an enjoyable read.
review 2: This book was just okay. Nothing special, or something that I enjoyed
... more a lot, but not something that was terrible. I thought it was interesting because I have never read a book about blogging. Grandma Hope and Imogene's dad were the stand out characters for me. They were always enjoyable and I ever got mad at them. The mother was extremely selfish, and even after Imogene forgave her I still hated her. less
