review 1: I normally love the books in this series, but this one was not my favorite. Story came across as silly and slightly nuts instead of a mature woman who runs a successful grocery store and bee product business. I also did not like Patti (Pitty Party Patti) and her craziness. SPOILER: How could Story associate with Patti after being attacked and glued to the wall with super glue???? I would have nothing to do with someone who attacked me in my home and continues to break into your home and car. I hope the next book is better.
review 2: Another fun (and funny) episode involving Story, her family, and neighbors. The bees were less prominent in this book, which was a nice change of pace. I was intrigued by the introduction of witchcraft into this storyline and ... moreI think it worked to move the plot forward. I think this is my favorite of the Queen Bee books so far, but I would recommend that anyone new to the series start with the first book in order to better understand the characters and plot lines. less
