review 1: Couldn't help but read other reviews of this one. I'm surprised at how many people were offended. Was it the nudity? Strange animal body parts? Imagination? Rickheit squeezes a lot of detail into every panel. There are quite a few panels that feature crazy made-up machines that are only seen once, they serve no other purpose than the author just wanted to draw them. To me, that is the point. Rickheit wanted to draw some strange stuff, so he did his best to build a story around that. Some of the story is interesting, but a lot is unexplained. But the book and book design is amazing.
