review 1: Geez. Talk about the blurb being better than the overall book. This had the potential to be good and completely missed the mark.First, I want to address the issue of time here. I thought being with a guy for six months and then asking him to move in with you just seemed a bit soon to me. Also, after only six months, the guy utterly breaks your heart to the point where you immediately change your phone number and switch schools? Was all of that necessary? Talk about overdramatic. I understand being heartbroken and devastated, but not after six months. I could've swallowed that better had the MCs been together for no less than a year.AND THEN seven years pass before you see each other again? I can understand 3 years passing, maybe even five. But seven? I feel like... more that's such an arbitrary number of years to pass between them. Though it didn't seem that time changed them at all, unfortunately. Neither Harlan nor Ryder seemed to have grown emotionally and that stunted any kind of character development they could've had.The verbal diarrhea each MC had made me roll my eyes to where they almost fell out of my head. Their dialog didn't seem natural at all.I felt really uncomfortable with the supposed "apology" scene. You won't listen to me, so I'm going to tie you up and gag you. You won't accept my half-assed apology, I'm going to fuck you whether you want to or not. Really?Overall, I'm glad this was a free read or I would've been mad had I spent my hard earned money on this. Harlan and Ryder are both stunted individuals who deserve each other.2 Stars.
review 2: This was a freebie that was short and sweet. I involves Harland, the jilted lover and Ryder, the one who ran away. Ryder comes back in Harlin's life after 7 years. What timing! Ryder comes back just as Harlan seems to have a handle on what happened and can finally put it behind him. It's a short story, but a good one. I certainly wouldn't have minded if it had been longer. I just wanted to hug Harland really tight. less

Two men destined for each other that almost totally f^^^ it up. Great real feeling emotions.
