review 1: Miranda Warning is an excellent book. I am so glad to have receved this book to read. I have another another author to follow now. I enjoyed this mystery tremendously. This book follows Tess and Miranda and mystery notes. There is romance, suspense, love, faith, family, and a need to belong. I can not wait for the next book!I received this book from the Book Club Network in exchange for my honest opinion.
review 2: If you're looking for a different kind of heroine, Tess Spencer is your girl. She reminds me a bit of Maxie in Sue Henry's Maxie and Stretch series. Tough, confident, not afraid to express her opinion, and packs a lot of heat. If you're looking for the standard politically correct tripe that seems to dominate the bookshelves these days, this book is... moren't for you. Heather writes for the rest of us who put faith and values ahead of popular opinion. She doesn't preach, and the book doesn't shoot to deliver a Christian message, but Tess Spencer shows her values through her actions. Thank you thank you, Heather Gilbert, for a book that doesn't make me want to hurl it at the nearest car with a Yes We Can! bumper sticker. I can't wait for the next in the series. less
