review 1: Although I liked it, I kind of had a problem with it. Like how they fall in love with each other without really talking! Seriously! There is lot's of narration about each thinking about the other, or even talking to another person about them, but not actually to each other. And then all of the sudden they are just in a relationship! I needed a bit more face to face interaction for it to be believable.
review 2: Mostly I just felt there wasn't enough of a story arc. They had a few disagreements in the beginning, and usually there's supposed to be some climatic event near the end that the characters must overcome, but that didn't happen here. Things just kind of went along and the characters got together and that was that. Also, I got annoyed at how many time
... mores it was mentioned that Breezy was nice. I get it, she's nice ok? I don't need to hear it on every page. Also, I was wanting there to be more of a connection to Pride and Prejudice. Besides the fact that the two characters don't get along at the beginning and a few other minor similarities, it really wasn't much of a retellling. None of the secondary characters have their own stories and it's just the main two characters who kind of run parallel to Austen's work. So, yeah. less
