review 1: This book started out really slow. Maybe it was just me but all the background that they had at first had no bearing on the story at that point in time. Maybe be because there was so much of it the story had such a slow start. I still gave it 3 stars because once it got going I did like the storyline even though some of it seemed sort of out there. All of these perfect rich people to begin with. It was sort of like a fairy tale ending too with both groups matching up and then having the big wedding.I do read some books twice especially if there is another one that comes out in that series but I would have to say that this book would not be one of them.
review 2: Well, that wasn't as bad as I expected. It was actually WAY better. People complained a lot about th
... moreis book and I don't see the reason. Yes, the book had some annoying factors in it but in the end it was a great read.I think there was wat more drama in this book than the original Pride and Prejudice story. It is probably because it is modern and about rockstar. But it also may be because of what the author did with the story. She took some things out, added things and (the best are when:) she twisted situations. She made things unexpected, which was a good thing since usually with these adaptions, I know exactly what was going to happen. This however didn't. I didn't know what was going to happen with the situation in the book but I couldn't stop reading that I stayed until after midnight reading this.My only problem with this book is that at the middle there was a point in which I thought the book was going to end there and another point in which I thought it was totally unnecessary cause nothing was really happening and it just made the book longer.Overall, this book is amazing, enough that I will surely read it again. less
